Call for Proposals Update

United Way Ottawa is committed to making change happen in our community by working with, and investing in, our priority goal partners through the Community Fund.  In the fall of 2010 and 2011, United Way Ottawa invited submissions from eligible social service agencies through an open Call for Proposals (CFP) process to support the Priority Goals under three Focus Areas: Growing Up Great, Belonging to Community and Turning Lives Around as well as for the cross-cutting Priority Goal for Agency Capacity Building.
           
The Call for Proposals process over the past two years committed more than 96% of Community Fund investments in two and three year funding agreements with priority goal partners.  As a result, there will not be a Call for Proposals process in the fall of 2012.  The Community Services Cabinet will be reviewing the timing for the next Call for Proposals, which will be communicated in 2013.
